The Role - European Sales Manager (Power and Gas Trading)

Following expansion they now seek to recruit a commercially astute European Sales Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team and for defining the European sales strategy.

You will lead a team as they engage in business development, account management and identify new business opportunities, ultimately looking to exceed sales and gross profit targets. You will look to extend the customer base, assist in training team members, analyse competitor activity take responsibility for trading results.

Your Background - European Sales Manager (Power and Gas Trading)

To succeed in this varied and challenging role, you must be able to demonstrate a background in gas, power or oil trading. You should be able to build strong relationships with the banking sector and may have previous experience of the Liquid Natural Gas. You may have worked directly in a power and gas trading role or for an investment bank in a gas commodities trading desk.
You will need to be well organised and an excellent relationship builder with the ability to lead, motivate and develop your team and sales strategy.
