Food & Beverage / Restaurant Manager 22,000 - 25,000 p.a. depending on experience

Based: Near Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire

Working closely with the Events / Office Manager, Golf Manager and the Head Chef, the Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for F&B Supervisors and casual service staff. The Food & Beverage Manager will ensure the food and beverage operation deliver a consistently high standard of professional service on a daily basis and specifically for hospitality events / functions e.g. weddings, conferences, private dinners etc.

Responsibilities include inducting and training of staff, control of work rotas, revenue and profitability of food and beverage areas, hygiene, health and safety, stock control, general housekeeping and the provision of excellent customer service at all times.

Our client is a leading golf venue providing excellent leisure facilities and hospitality within beautiful and peaceful surroundings in the Wiltshire countryside, nearby to Bath, Bristol and Bradford-upon-Avon.

The successful Food & Beverage Manager will be competent in the use of IT / EPOS / till computer systems with an understanding of licensing laws and Best Practice procedures within the hospitality and leisure sector. Ideally you will have a minimum Basic / Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate, NVQ3, City and Guilds 7071/2 or equivalent qualification from the Catering industry.

Smartly presented with strong verbal communication skills to manage customers and staff, you will be flexible to work a shift and rota system including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays average 40 hours per week. With previous professional experience from within the restaurant, beverage, food, catering sector, you will demonstrate the ability to provide the highest standards of customer care.
